Frequently Asked Questions

What is Compounding?

Compounding is the preparation of a customized medication by a pharmacist according to a doctor's specifications to meet an individual patient need.

Who makes a compound?

One of our specially trained and highly knowledgeable pharmacists or Board Certified Pharmacy Technicians prepares the compounded prescriptions.

How do I order a compound?

Prescriptions can be called in, mailed, faxed or electronically sent straight to the pharmacy from your doctor's office. Prescriptions can also be brought in directly to Klein's Pharmacy.

Refills

  • can be called into our Automated Refill line 330-926-5946 24 hours a day 7 days a week (however they will not be ready in 2 hours as stated, since compounds are invidually made.)
  • can be called into our friendly staff at 330-929-9183
  • can be ordered online at www.kleinsrx.com
  • or you can stop in and personally place the order

Well if they are not ready in 2 hours when will they be ready?

  • New compounds are generally ready within 2-3 business days (unless a product needs ordered which can take longer)
  • Refills are ready within 5-7 business days
  • All Compounding Patients will be called as soon as your compound is ready.

Will my insurance cover my compound?

Every insurance company and plan is different. Klein's Pharmacy accepts most insurances and will make every effort to bill your compound directly to your insurance. Universal compound claim forms can also be provided if requested. If however your compound is not covered we will call you with a price before making the compound.

What is your return policy?

State law dictates that once a prescription medication leaves the premises of a pharmacy, it can no longer be returned.

What are your hours and location?

Compounding is available only at our State Road location at 2015 State Road Cuyahoga Falls Ohio 44223.
We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 7 pm and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm (closed major holidays)
